Locations

A location is a place your alarms protect - a home, a cabin, a rental. Every alarm and panic button belongs to exactly one, and the people you alert see which location triggered, with its address, so the person you wake at 3am knows exactly where to go.

Locations → New Location. Two fields matter:

  • Name - what you and your alerts call the location. Rename it freely; alarms and their webhook URLs never change.
  • Address - search for it or enter it manually. This is what your contacts see, so make it the address you would give a neighbour, not a lot number.

Your first location is created during onboarding; add more whenever a new place needs protecting.

  • Alarms can move between locations - moving one never changes its webhook URLs, so nothing you configured elsewhere breaks.
  • A location with alarms or panic buttons cannot be deleted - move or delete them first.
  • The last location can never be deleted; every account keeps at least one.
